To the park!
It should NOT be 62° on February 26 and yet it is. I thoroughly enjoy this weather, but I like winter too. Snow days where we can put some chili in the crock pot, bake something, and stay inside watching a movie without feeling guilty that we're not outside enjoying the nice weather.
We went to the park today to enjoy the nice weather. I had discovered a new part of the 'sand park' that has swings (yay!) but it didn't really have much else in that part besides the swings. Its the best park to go to though because its within walking distance and the only other thing close enough is a play area with a couple swings and a big ride toy. Also, since we made a snowman, anytime Harper finds a stick she has to pick it up 'this is perfect for a snowman!' We found some sticks on the walk to the park.
So, Harper and Ryden swang for awhile then Harper decided she had to potty. Too bad the Parks and Rec Department didn't get the memo that it has been unseasonably warm all winter and the bathrooms were locked, because its supposed to be COLD in February. So, like a champ she popped a squat at the park. Classy, I know. While she was peeing in the trees, we found some snail shells. She gets so excited about everything, I love it and I know that someday she won't want anything to do with us. If she could just stop growing up now, I think we've hit a good age :)
