A snowman named Reindeer

Last week it snowed 2 inches here.  It's the end of February and so far this winter we have had 2 inches of snow.  So, I had been promising Harper that we would make a snowman when we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house but as we got closer I was getting worried when there was hardly any snow and we were only an hour away.  But as promised, there was still a significant amount of snow, definitely enough to make a snowman.

Saturday morning we all (Grandma, Jana, me, Elsie, Ryden and of course Harper) headed out to make a snowman.  The snow didn't stick.  Let's try sledding instead.  Harper went down about two times before she decided that sledding was too scary.  Trying to convince her to go inside without making a snowman was pretty tough too.  Eventually though, with the promise of going out later to make a snowman, she gave in.

Later, we made good on our promise and made a snowman.  Good thing Scott showed up because the snowman ended up being huge and I'm weak.  Harper got to put a carrot for the nose, very important.  Scott had some nontraditional snowman accessories to try out, and our snowman was named 'Reindeer' (very clever with the names).  Harper also gave sledding another try.  This time with mom and Uncle Scott, it was less scary with a grown-up.

Reindeer without his antlers.  Harper was so happy about her snowman.
